FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Prince George, BC - A section of Dakelh Ti will be closed from today, June 24, until Thursday June 26 for water tie-ins for the Providence Living Long Term Care Facility development.
The road closure will be between Marleau Road and Stringer Crescent with detours in place to bypass the construction zone. The sidewalk will remain open for pedestrian access.
The closure today commenced at 11 a.m and for tomorrow and Thursday will be in place from 7 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Water service from Marleau Road to Stringer Crescent will be impacted during this period, meaning water service will be shut off for tomorrow only between 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. and impacted properties will be notified.
The City advises residents to exercise caution around the work zone and pay attention to signage and directions from the traffic control personnel.
