Notice of traffic and pedestrian network disruptions - March 19, 2026

Queensway, between Quadrant Cres. and Hamilton Ave.

• Will have the north bound right-hand lane and sidewalks closed Thursday, March 19^th from 7:30 am to 5:00 pm for a water service repair
• Emergency vehicles WILL have access

Hwy 97. N, between 5^th Ave. and North Nechako Rd.

• Northbound lane will be closed Wednesday, March 18^th until Thursday, March 19^th from 11:00 pm to 1:00 am due to work being completed on John Hart East Bridge
• Detours will be required
• Emergency vehicles will NOT have access 

5^th Ave., between Foothills Blvd. and Hill Ave.

• Will have the bike lanes closed on the north and south Friday, March 20^th from 8:00 am to 11:00 am
• Emergency vehicles WILL have access

Queensway, between 5^th Ave. and Patricia Blvd.

• Will have the south bound right lane and sidewalk closed Wednesday, March 25^th until Tuesday, March 31^st from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm for utility installation and repair
• Emergency vehicles WILL have access

Foothills Blvd. at North Nechako Rd.

• Will experience traffic disruptions with north bound right turn lane closed Thursday, March 26^th until Friday, March 27^th from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm
• Emergency vehicles WILL have access

North Nechako Rd. at Foothills Blvd.

• Will experience traffic disruptions Thursday, March 26^th until Friday, March 27^th from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm
• Emergency vehicles WILL have access

6^th Ave., between Brunswick St. and Victoria St.

• Is closed for construction until Thursday, April 30^th, 2026
• Sidewalks are closed on the south side of street but open on the north side of the street
• Emergency vehicles will NOT have access

Brunswick St., between 6^th Ave. and 7^th Ave.

• Will have the sidewalk and parking lane closed on the west side of Brunswick St. February 4^th until April 1^st from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm
• Emergency vehicles will NOT have access

3^rd Ave., between George St. and Queensway

• Will be closed every Saturday starting May 2^nd until October 10^th from 6:30 am to 3:00 pm for the Wilson Square Community Market
• Emergency vehicles WILL have access

Foothills Blvd., between Cranbrook Hill Rd. and Ochakwin Cres.

• The southbound lane and bike lane will be closed intermittently August 1, 2025, until July 31, 2026, from 5:00 am to 5:30 pm for loading and unloading of construction materials
