Fire Rescue media release - 8th Avenue

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE 

Prince George, B.C. - At approximately 6 a.m. on November 16, Prince George Fire Rescue crews from three halls responded to the 1600 block of 8th Avenue for a residential structure fire. 

First arriving crews found extensive fire in a single-story residential structure. The fire was quickly extinguished before it was able to extend to the neighbouring house. RCMP assisted with the removal of the occupants. 

No firefighters or occupants were hurt in the blaze. The estimated damage is $250,000 and the fire is currently under investigation.
