FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Prince George BC - At approximately 4:00 p.m. on December 8, 2025, Prince George Fire Rescue crews responded to the 6000 block of Simon Fraser Avenue for a residential structure fire.
Upon arrival, crews encountered heavy smoke inside the structure. Firefighters quickly initiated an offensive attack and extinguished the fire on the main floor of the residence. Fire was contained to the property of origin.
Damage is estimated at $120,000, and the cause of the fire is under investigation. All residents were out of the home at the time; there were no injuries.
Emergency support services were activated to provide assistance to the residents.
