Prince George, B.C. - The City of Prince George launched the fall Community Association Recreation Guide today. The guide features a wide variety of recreation opportunities offered by local community associations for people of all ages.

Find affordable sports options for kids including floor hockey, basketball, indoor soccer, volleyball, and multi-sport programs or activities like Lego, chess, home alone courses, and cooking classes. Adults can participate in a variety of health and fitness classes, co-ed sports, trail walking for women, and pickleball!

Prince George community associations provide recreation opportunities throughout the city from local programming and events to sponsoring ice rinks and park development. Prince George is home to seven dedicated community associations that partner with the City to offer programs in school gyms, fields, and parks. Volunteers provide a wide range of activities for every neighborhood in the city. Residents are encouraged to register for any community association’s programs and events, no matter where they live.

Registration is open for many of the programs, which begin in September and continue through the fall. Residents that are interested in volunteering to run their own programs or help in other ways are encouraged to email parksandrec@princegeorge.ca
